Gel Transfer Project
For this project we first picked our own picture that had good black and white contrast. We then printed our picture on a xerox paper because we need the acrylic gel medium to attach itself to the xerox. We then took our transfer off of the paper and attacked it to our canvas and then blended it into our canvas using acrylic paint as well as other mediums such as gesso and melted crayon. Using this medium we blended the picture and tried to blend the edge of our paper with the canvas so it would not be a noticeable transfer.

Constraints:
For this piece I used a 10x10 canvas and to transfer my painting I used an acrylic medium. To get the 3D effect I melted crayons onto the paper and applied multiple washes to make the vibrant colors less dominant.
